I cannot believe my daughter starts school

She will be a Junior in High School and we have already started to look at Colleges.
Time flies by so fast!

On the first day of school I always make cookies.
She asked for Oatmeal Chocolate Chip,
and they will greet her when she arrives home.

She will be driving to and from school!

  1. It is so hard to see your kids grow up and know that they will soon leave the nest, and yet that is what you've been trying to accomplish all of their lives! What a sweet tradition (no pun intended) of making cookies for the first day!

  2. So, Jane, I have to that a picture of YOU crying or HER crying? :)

We don't start for another 2 weeks, but you are so right about the time going by too fast!

  3. ahhhh I sew remember those days...although my tears were for happiness that they going back to school lol
She will be just fine you know...x

  4. It does seem early to be starting school, but summer--or their growing up years-- never is long enough! I hope your daughter has a fabulous year and you are able to soak up lots of memories!

  5. She may not like it now, but I'm sure she will soon love it.

  6. Bee Tree does have her post up! Please change your list.

  7. They do grow up fast. I just got off the phone with my son and DIL who are on their way to NY airport and on to Malaysia. They are having a church wedding with her family so will be gone 3 weeks. No matter how old they are, they make us sad when they go away, lol.

  8. ooo everytings happen so soon ! i'm sure you'll appreciate this in fews days... well now give her a big hug and keep in mind we have kids to let them growing up... well maybe i'll write it to you and for me in the same time! nice day Jane

  9. My youngest daughter in a Junior also. My oldest daughter, just 18 months older, will be in college this fall. I know how you feel the tears have already started to fall.

I always love to hear your thoughts!
