QATW Christmas Block…

I do not have my grandbaby today or yesterday as a matter of fact. Our poor little guy has the flu and just needs his Mommy and Daddy.

I did get a block done for my bee QATWC.

I knew that this member loved vintage so I tried to incorporate vintage images with a modern wonky star. I had a great time finding fabrics I hoped she would like.

Happy Sewing!

A Silly Question.....

I was going to paint my sewing room pink but now that it is a half wall that would look strange. So, I am going to use as many pink accessories as I can find.
Now for the silly part…
Is there a color that just makes you happy?
You look at it, it could be a toilet brush but you are still happy, warm and gushy.
For me it is….

I adore it…
Brings a smile to my face and warmth to my heart.
AAAhhhh Cotton Candy Pink......

A girl can dream..........

I WANT this room sooooo badly!!!

I love this sewing cabniet and would paint it pink in a heartbeat!

Oh YES!!! Someday!!

What color makes you happy? Not like but makes you feel gushy happy??

Lissa's Quilt!!!!!

Thank you again to everyone who donated blocks, thread and monetary donations. Special thanks go to Millie for her extraordinary quilting of this oh so special quilt. And of course to Mel for making it all possible and her talents at piecing the quilt.
Mel went to see Lissa this weekend and presented her with the quilt. Not only is Lissa doing better but she was able to play cards with Mel, one of their favorite past times. Mel reports that Lissa is an amazing woman with strength, power and faith. She is always happy and looks at what she has and not what she could of lost. I would now like to show you some pictures of the quilt and of Lissa.

It turned out wonderful!! Can you see your blocks?

At the piecing by Mel and the quilting by Millie! It is so beautiful.

This is the back with all your well wishes.

I think these last two pictures tell it all.

God bless you all for everything you did to make this happen.
