I am not sure about you but I have trouble with color. I tend to agonize over it and then when I do choose I wish I had chosen differently.
This baby boy quilt is an example of hard color choices. As you can see from the pattern there are many, many colors.
How in the world am I going to decide which fabric to use where?
Then I had an idea! I cut all the strips and put them in a box. I leaned over and picked one at random for the block. Started to sew and kept on picking! For me, this worked!

It is very nice. I made a similar one but the blocks are only 2 inches
