Now maybe you can understand why I did not rush to put my new sewing room together. This is a huge job!

Out with the old and in with new new!!!

What a great way to start the Holidays and a wonderful way to bring in 2011.
Our rooms are done!!
Well, minus the plantation shutters for the windows!!
Well, minus any new furniture!
YET, a queen size sofa couch is in the works.
Oh and for my room, for now I am going to use old tables, shelves, desks, and my husband’s old dental cabinet.
Anything I can get my hands on for my room!!
And you know what?
I am so happy because it is

MINE!!!!

Someday, slowly I will replace old with new but for now, I am on cloud nine.

A few new things.....

Here are the first new fun PINK items I bought for my new sewing room. I am sure many of you know Ayumi from the Pink Penguin. She is so adorable and makes the most wonderful things. Her work is amazing and her fabrics are so cute and whimsical.
She is so kind, I just send an email and ask for what I would like and presto it is here.

I ordered a PINK fabric basket and a PINK pincushion.
Look at how cute!!

Ayumi and sent me this darling pot holder which will never touch a pot!!
