That I want to turn our heat on!!! Oh where has my wonderful summer gone. We really did not have a very hot summer. I already miss it. So, to feel better I am off to buy Little T a new toy!! Have a warm day!!!
Hi Jane, I hope your shopping trip is fun and productive! Toy shopping is my husband's favorite thing to do! I have not yet turned the heat on, but Sunday was rainy and cold here and we were home all day after church in the morning, so I put a fire in the fireplace and kept it going all day until after dinner. It was so cozy and comforting!
I agree about the heat situation. I was forced to turn it on on Monday...we had 40 mile an hour winds and rain here...brrrr....so cold. Makes me scared about receiving my gas bill though lol.
Jane, it's spring here but we still need to have the heater on at night and early morning.. I don't like the cold..roll on summer! Julia ♥ P.S. pop by next week, I'm having a blogaversary!..
I actually had to turn the heat on for the first time this morning to get the chill out of the house. Darn, you are right, short summer and it is over already.
I've been wavering for the last couple of days whether or not to turn on the heat - it was 44 when we got up this morning - so I think its time! Maybe you should, too! Cheers!
I wish it was just May again, it seems the summers fly by faster each year. I live in SD where the winters can be NASTY---every year I say I am going to pick up my camper and head straight south to TX until it's at least April again! Of course, DH rolls his eyes a bit at that, we're a long way from retiring!
I spend a lot of the summer volunteering and would "volunteer clean on to TX" if I could get away with it! LOL But brought it home to clean and get ready for storage, I will head back next year. And yes, my heat IS ON!! So is the electric blanket, but I had that on all summer--LOL!! Fibromyalgia and restless leg, the electric blanket really help. Lori in SD--home from NE--sigh

Well, it was 65 in the house when we got home. We broke down and turned it on knowing it was only going to get worse.
