Sorry to hear that your having a sad day. Are you realy sad that your kids are going back to school. I don't have children but my friends are happy when there kids go back to school. I hope you will be feeling better soon. Just info on my swap I'm going to Detroit tomorrow and it will be in the mail.
Think of it this way, Jane - more time to quilt! And you get to greet them when they come home with cookies and milk and ask how their day was - what sweetness!Cheers!
No tears here, at least from Sean! He could not wait to get to school yesterday and again today! I was a little sad to see him go yesterday, but after he got home and told me all about his wonderful day, I was happy again. Next year will be a different story though, when my little Gracie starts kindergarten. Waa waa waa, from me...not her! She wants to go in the worst way!MGM
yep....enough said....hope we still see you around as often.
ok, now I feel a little guilty for being excited that school starts next week...
Oh Jane! While you sew...You'll have all day to look forward to them coming home..Sounds awful, but i was never too sad to see mine go to school...and they couldn't wait to go!Julia ♥
Thanks for the "chuckle"--Hugs, just, Di
School started here on the 24th. It used to be on August 8th but because of the hurricanes they start later. Our two oldest are graduated but we still have little man (Robbie, 10) at home. He is homeschooled though. So, we start school whenever I decide to lol. I went out on Tuesday and bought all his books so we can start on Monday. He never would have made it to school this week anyways. He has battling a chest cold all week. When the kids were all in public school I had a love/hate relationship with the first day of school. It's nice to have the house to myself but I did miss the impromptu hugs and games and adventures.
I'm glad my oldest one has finished school and the younger one is in the 9th class, that saves me a little more time for quilting! But I sure know what you mean!!!
I always love to hear your thoughts!
