I am Trying, Really

I am trying really I am..
BUT
I just want my google reader!
I am using all three right now
Google Reader
Feedly
Bloglovin

I love that when I scroll down my posts on Google Reader they go away.
With Bloglovin I mark them as read , they turn gray but NEVER seem to go away!
On Feedly I can make the title say Pink, as I read the title changes to black and I can delete the post.

If they make me choose, I am going feedly.

How about you?
This is so frustrating!!

  1. It sure is confusing... but if I must pick ... I will go with feedly. I have been using it for a few weeks now and the more I use it the more I like it. I would give it an A and it is heading towards an A+.
Best of luck with all of these changes.

  2. So far, Bloglovin. Because I can't handle reading blogs in a reader. I have to read them in a browser and bloglovin has the older/newer button that is similar to google reader's 'next' button. For people who like to read them in a reader, I've read that feedly is better.

  5. I don't use readers myself...I prefer the dashboard. As I understand it, this will be left alone. I tried blog lovin for a while, but went back to my dashboard for the list! Much better!

  6. You would think that google would get the message. What is with them anyway? What are they thinking? What I don't like about bloglovin is that it doesn't seem to have all of the blogs listed that reader does. Aren't they all supposed to transfer?

  7. I'm on feedly too now but did use the blogger dashboard before. I like that I can delete the posts I've read on feedly, but haven't figured out a ONE click comment option, I'd have to PREVIEW the post and then comment or open in a new tab and then comment, especially if I'm on a laptop without a mouse I can't scroll down on the page on the keyboard it removes the preview

  8. Oh I agree... it's all so frustrating and for no good reason. Reader is definitely the best and I don't think there is really a good replacement (yet). I'm trying Bloglovin, Feedly, and The Old Reader (which is the closest in performance to Google Reader) and will probably go with The Old Reader or Feedly. Don't care much for Bloglovin.

  9. Yes it is really frustrating me, I'm still not really sure why they are getting rid of it. I actually really like Bloglovin' - I like that they turn gray so I know I read them, but sometimes I want to go back to a post I've read and I forget. Oh the troubles of a blogger these days. ;)

  10. I have had bloglovin for at least 3monthys if not longer, I love it.
The ones I've read do go away over time, but I like that it stays for a couple of days so I can go back to them if I need to. Thats just me,
    hope this helps

  13. I like Bloglovin because you can have the blog updates sent to your email. I never go to the Bloglovin site. =)

  14. i transferred to Feedly and Bloglovin right away. and deleted all in Reader. then i realized that the feed was connected to a setting in Reader to transfer all Blogs Following which is in Blogger. so i made a new account in Google changing the settings to not feed Blogs Following and manually added them to Feedly. i am still keeping Bloglovin for a few sites that i can't yet get Feedly to find. and to claim my blog in Bloglovin. now i like Feedly. one thing you can't do in Feedly is to search in your results. so as you read them you need to be serious and either tag them or save them for later. the icons for this are right under the post. they might fix this. but when? what i do like is that i added newsarticles(like npr and guardian) and youtube subscriptions. much prefer watching new videos in Feedly than after getting an email.

  16. That is why I appreciate getting posts emailed directly to my box! I can organize or delete them, depending on their content.

  17. I am still in denial and haven't switched over yet. There is a company called Digg that are allegedly making their version of Google Reader i.e. nearly exactly the same. I am waiting for their version before I switch. My pet hate is having to open a browser for each blog post so you can read it in full.
