Elaine (no-blog) and I took a trip to Tammy Tadds Designs Shop. We are lucky we live about 30 minutes away. I held back today, all the Christmas Fabric was 30% off so, of course, I got more! Who knows I might need a blue cottage in my town. I am also collecting pink fabrics for my pink town. The tiny ones are called Taddies, and are 11 inches squares, a perfect size for doors, windows, etc. I then pick up a Yo-Yo maker, I want to make a ton of Christmas ones for out tree (next year). Of course, it was fun, she has a wonderful store. We stopped for lunch did a little shopping and headed home.
When I got home, I picked up the mail and guess what? You are right, a new neighbor from a sweet girl Pratima. Look at the Christmas carolers in the window. Thank you, I just love it!!!
Have a nice weekend!
You are lucky, I wish I live near her shop! Lots of great little goodies.
ReplyDeleteI have a gazillion yo yo's...but I don't use one of those thingys...I don't even know how they work!
ReplyDeleteI wanna go to her quilt shop. Call me next time you go...I'll meet at your house! :)
The fabrics are delightful and fresh! And what a nice addition to the neighbourhood!! Let us know how the yo yo maker works. I have one but haven't used it yet. Too busy building houses...
ReplyDeleteAnother darling cottage! Tammy Tadd Designs was a vendor at the National Quilt Association quilt show in Columbus this past June. What a fun booth and of course I spent $$.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky...I live in a town of 25,000 people and we don not have a fabric store...except for WalMart...
ReplyDeleteI love your stuff.
I'm so glad you like it Jane. Can't wait to see your little christmas town, when it's all put together :)
