I was going to paint my sewing room pink but now that it is a half wall that would look strange. So, I am going to use as many pink accessories as I can find.
Now for the silly part…
Is there a color that just makes you happy?
You look at it, it could be a toilet brush but you are still happy, warm and gushy.
For me it is….

I adore it…
Brings a smile to my face and warmth to my heart.

ReplyDeleteThere is never such a thing as a silly question. But I think that you know the answer to that question for me. We are soul sisters in the pink department. Pink makes my heart sing and really all shades of it too. But I must say that I am partial to the deep fuchsia shades of pink. Loooooove it!!
ReplyDeleteI love the color turquoise. Not the pale version, the bright, vibrant, knock your socks off color! btw...that desk would be so darling pink! I can see the detail painted a darker pink to match! ;)
ReplyDeleteFirst thought..butter cream...as accents in my entire home is of this colour..it is fresh, squeaky clean...but then I have to think of my happy color this year..it is ORANGE lol.

I too am a pinkaholic, and love PINK! If you are going to add pink as an accessory, how about a mocha color on the walls. Seems like it would be a nice combination :-)

ReplyDeleteYep, pink makes me happy. I try to wear a lot of pink. Usually HOT pink. Makes me sexy LOL. My house is cream colored with dark brown furniture and tobacco tile. That way I can hang ANY seasons drapes and they match. If I want rust for fall, that is what I have now. My accent color is usually maroon. I would love to do my sewing room in hot pink, however right now my sewing room is in my living room and I don't think dh would go for that. I would go with something that you can change on a whim.
ReplyDeleteOh I love PINK! But I love the deep dark hot pink. I know what you mean by "just makes you happy" no matter what it's on. So are you making it white with the pink accessories. I think it would look like the lollipop.

In the 60's my family built a new home. I got to pick out everything for my room. Cotton Candy pink from the ceiling to the shag carpet on the floor! The memory still brings a smile to my face!

ReplyDeleteI love gray. It is so calm and peaceful and every other color goes with it. I like the blue shades of gray best, the shades that look like the sky on a stormy day. Beautiful!
