Remember just movies I like…
Not in any particular order…
Use your own discretion….
Friday Flick Pick #10
Bringing up Baby (1938)
Staring;
Cary Grant
Katharine Hepburn
Director Howard Hawks
Katharine Hepburn (Susan) a rather scatter head, finds she has been smitten with paleontologist Cary Grant (David). And the hilarious events that happen as she tries to get his attention. Even with the use of a leopard named “Baby”
Jane’s vote 5 stars
My favorite part ~~ when she is on the phone pretending to be the operator telling the time!

I never have been one for the classics, don't know why. But maybe this may be a great intro for me! Thanks for the recommendation.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the funniest movies ever!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a five star movie!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jane! I am going to have to watch this one!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge old movie fan... I love Katherine. I love the way you share these classics on your blog:) thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm not overly fond of today's movies... In fasct, I rasrely go to the movies these days... they've either gotten to political or agenda-ish.
ReplyDeleteNow give me these movies any day. This is the stuff I grew up with... These **are** movies!
I love TCM for all the great movies we get to relive. I remember Bringing up Baby. Total entertainment and so funny.
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding us again of simpler times.
I love these old movies because of the great fashions...Edith Head...remember her?
I'll watch an old movie just to see "Gowns by Adrian" or Edith Head designs!!!
ReplyDeleteThe classic Katharine Hepburn comedies are so smart with slapstick and witty dialogue!
