Friday Flick #7

It has been a very long week and I need a good movie!!

Remember just movies I like…
Not in any particular order…
Use your own discretion….

Friday Flick Pick # 7

North by Northwest (1959)

Staring;
Cary Grant
Eva Maria Saint
James Mason

Director: Alfred Hitchcock

Cary Grant (Roger Thornhill) is mistaken for a government agent and as he tries to clear his name he meets Eva Marie Saint (Miss Eve Kendall) and then is set upon a trip around the country trying to avoid being killed.
You must watch for the climatic ending on Mt Rushmore.

This movie ranks in my top ten list of favorites. I love all of Alfred Hitchcock’s movies, but there is something special about this one.
I really need to see Mt. Rushmore!
Have a great weekend!!

  2. I have a collection of all of Alfred Hitchock's movies. North By Northwest is one of my favorites.
By the way, I checked out Monkey Business at my local library a few days ago. I don't think I've ever seen Cary Grant act so silly! Ginger Rogers was a hoot!

  3. Alfred Hitchcock's movies are the best. My favorite was hi 1954... Rear Window. In it James Stewart played the part of the wheelchair bound photographer that spies on his neighbors from his apartment window and becomes convinced that one of them has committed murder.
Great movie... in fact I am going out to get it to watch tonight while I quilt. Thanks Jane for triggering my memory!

  4. Awesome movie! I am skeered of heights so the whole running around Mt Rushmore makes me squirm, squint and really nervous!
