This is what has been keeping me very busy. I am making napkins for Emily's Wedding. I try to make four a day. i will be making 150 and I have about 50 done!!
Here is the fabric I am using
a petal pink print...
and a soft yellow....
When the Wedding is over they will be washed cut and made into a quilt.
Now I need to go and make my four for today!!
Have a nice day!!
wow....you are a third done, and four a day is a lofty goal. Love the fabrics and I can not wait to this the quilt....and the wedding.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are on a roll, lovely fabrics

I love the pink fabric. I seem to be in a pink mood lately :) The idea of taking the napkins and turning them into a quilt is wonderful. What a fun keepsake of the wedding. Plus, no waste. Weddings can be so expensive and there is so much waste.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful project! How terrific is that, that they will become a quilt when the wedding is over. That quilt will be one that is cherished forever, I am sure!
ReplyDeleteAnd did they pick pink from your sugggestion? Or influence?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea to use the napkins for a future wedding quilt.
great idea!
ReplyDeletePretty fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds so special ... all those napkins that you made touched by all the guests and then saved in a quilt...great idea.

That is such a sweet idea! I was anxious to see a photo of the dress you found! (my son's wedding is coming up)
ReplyDeleteThe napkins are going to be so beautiful and I LOVE that you are going to take them and make them into a quilt when the wedding is over. Very clever!!!
ReplyDelete150 napkins is a huge amount! You are smart to break it down to a managable 4 a day!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! Great idea to use them later too. You could let people write messages on them for the couple to have in the quilt.
ReplyDeleteThose are going to be wonderful napkins and an even more amazing quilt! Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteJust lovely Jane..
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to make a quilt from them later...beautiful keepsake for Emily !
