The king size green and navy quilt that I have been working on is done and gifted to my DD and SIL.
It went from...
To into the washing machine.
Into the Dryer.
Fresh, warm, fluffy and cozy out of the dryer.
And, to its new home!
Hey! Two little monkeys jumping on the bed.
Baby brother was sounds asleep for this photo shoot.
This was a super fun quilt to make! I see more of this pattern in my future.
Happy Sewing!
I love that! Navy and green are a fresh combination that's right on trend. XO

ReplyDeleteLove love love the design and the fabrics!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I so love the colors. The simplicity of the blocks makes it quite showy. I can't believe this quilt is already done with all the hand quilting you did. Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteDon't you love that crinkly, just-washed look! It's a gorgeous quilt Jane! I love green and blue as a colour combo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful! I was amazed at all the different fabrics gathered in green and navy. You did a wonderful job - what a special gift you gave!

ReplyDeleteVery nice job Jane! A lovely gift, and wonderful color choices.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great color combo. Who woulda thought? It's a neat pattern and the hand quilting really sets it off. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteJane, it's beautiful and the colors are so pleasing to the eye. I like patterns that make up into large blocks, because at my age, tiny pieces are just too difficult to work with. I'm sure your DD's family is thrilled with it.
ReplyDeleteLove it!! You did a beautiful job! So fresh!!
ReplyDeleteThat turned out wonderfully!! Your stitches are such a nice frame to the blocks. Beautiful work...and grands!
ReplyDeleteIt looks fabulous. Lovely to see it in use.
ReplyDeleteJane, this quilt is gorgeous! Do you have a pattern for it? Sizes, anything? I actually think I can finish one like that. I love your stitches. Good job, Sharon Lozano
ReplyDeleteSo Jane educate me...your stitching was the only quilting? BTW I LOVE LOVE LOVE....did I say that I LOVE this post!!! I've been wondering about this quilt....and just love your finish!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! And I hope that one of those monkeys didn't break his/her head from jumping on that bed.
ReplyDeleteFantastic colors and lively prints! Your hand quilting makes the quilt more beautiful and warm!
