Brown...

I started the Quilters Palette Quilt.  I started with the color I had the least scraps. Ideally I would like to have 25 different prints but the first two colors I am using, well, hard to believe with the stash I have, but I am lacking in these colors. Brown and for some reason yellow.
When it comes to pink, I could make the whole quilt and never use the same print more than once!!

So, Let me introduce  Mrs. Brown.......

Squares laid out.

Rows ready to sew.

Block done. Notice the kerchief girls! Also some of my favorite fabric, Katie Jump Rope and some fun coffee prints.

Next, yellow!!

Happy Sewing!

  1. I'm not much of a brown person either but this block looks great! If you need a few more browns for a second block, I can throw a few scraps in when I post my wonky houses...

  4. Oh, I love the palette quilt pattern. This is going to be gorgeous. Makes me want to dump all my fabric bins, and see which colour I have the most of. Na, maybe not-I could drown! I do have a lot of white!
Your sparkle quilt pops-so bright. Um, is one corner supposed to be different? Seems like everyone is finishing up or starting Christmas patterns. Gonna beat the December rush.
