Thank you Happy Zombie.....

Thank you to Monica from Happy Zombie for this fun, free and delightful pattern. PLEASE, follow her directions and do not do it my way.
There is a reason she designs patterns and I do not. I have no clue.
Thank you Monica…
Here is the link to her post about her darling, fresh and fun new fabric line and a link to the pattern.

This is what I have done so far with my “Dots”.

I took out my wonderful border book to look for inspiration, this is a must have book!!

A checkerboard border, using 2 ½ inch squares in dots.

I am also going to be working on my “Quilt Shop”

I need to decide what size to make my Quilt Shop, maybe 14 X 14.

So, that is what I am going to be working on this week.

How about you?

  1. I so love your Zombie quilt...just amazing...

Can't wait to see your shop when it is done...

  2. Oh, I'm loving those dots! Your shop is cute; isn't Madame the bestest?! (I just couldn't ask for one....she has so much to do. Maybe one day I'll ask her to do one for Lilypadquilting, with our mascot, Padsworth at the door or window! LOL)
    Jacque in SC

  3. Jane! Love the quilt ... Happy Zombie is such fun and love the zig zag pattern :) Your dots are wonderful, of course :) :) Can't wait to see how your quilt shop turns out.... mine ended up a little bigger than originally intended, but I did add borders, so does that count? lol Happy sewing!!

  4. I like zig zag quilts, something i will make someday.
I need to get my braids cut out today, so I can sew the rest, tomorrow.
With the heat, I hate to sit in my sewing room in the afternoons, so will need to see if I can find a small air conditioner to put in there.

  5. Jane I love the dots! I wouldn't have thought of using them in this way but it's wonderful...bright and cheerful and summery. blessings, marlene

I always love to hear your thoughts!
