I know many of you who read my blog are already in this fun bee but for those who do not know about it, please allow me to explain.
This is a great bee for those who cannot commit to a whole year. It is run by quarters. You may join one, skip one, join again or do any combination.
Again great for getting your toes wet because you pick the block you want to make and you get to use your fabric.
The bee is divided into hives. Each hive has 7 members. One member is the caretaker of the hive and helps to keep things moving.
You will make 6 blocks (I make 7 as I make myself one too). You pick the block and make 6 of the very same block. The only difference will be the colors of the fabrics. You will receive from your caretaker your members color preferences and you go from there!
Sign ups are happening right now for January.
Hop over take a peek and see what you think.
We may even end up in the same hive!!

I may catch this one later. I've got a grandbaby to sew for.

I would love to join just one question. Any fabric requirements? I use mostly Connecting threads and one group I joined were fabric snobs and only would accept quilt store fabric.
ReplyDeleteAn what size block? I went to the flicker group, but couldn't find if there is a size required or just whatever size you want.
