Bringing out the pink!!!!!

There has been a temporary interruption of my Pink Lemonade Quilt.

I just NEED to make Little Miss a pink quilt!

I do, don't I?
I mean really what is a grandmother to do??!!
I have decided on the wonky star. It will be 5 X 5 blocks. 9 inches finished.
Not too big and not too small.

SO...

I need 25 different pinks!
Not a problem in this house, nope none at all!
Here is what I have pulled....

White Kona for the background.

and a pink flannel that I have been saying for years!!

I know I did overdo the words in pink, but I just could not help myself!!!

What do you think?

PS Yes I will change the backing, do not want my Little One to get glitter in her eyes. No problem, plenty of pink to choose from!
Have a happy day!!

  7. I was wondering how long you were going to hold out before you started playing in the pink fabrics. Can't have the new baby getting cold.

  11. I did a shades of pink queen size for granddaughter's wedding - I sure got tired of the pink but she loved it. Grandmothers will do anything. Love your selections, of course. Judy C in NC
