This finish was to be my sisters Christmas gift for 2009, then her Birthday gift for March 2010, so now it is an October Gift!!
When I hosted the red and aqua disappearing nine patch swap last year I joined twice. I knew I wanted a quilt with those colors and I know my sister loved them also.
So, here is her quilt and a little something extra for her.

Jane, I've been keeping an eye on that same backing fabric to use for my red and aqua quilt! The first time I saw the fabric, I knew it would make the perfect backing. Nice to see it done and know for sure! What a nice gift for your sister!

good job! I participated in the swap and have yet to put the lovely red and aqua all together. It was one of my goals to do for 2010 and I don't know if I will make it. Your finished project is inspiring me to get to it.
