Hi, blogging friends, when I was on Pinterest I found these picture of this quilt....
I have quite a bit of Katie Jump Rope left and my oldest daughter fell in love with this quilt.
I tracked down the picture to flickr where she linked to
YIPPEE!!!
Only do find out they are out of business.
I even flickr mailed the member to see if she knew where I could purchase this pattern.
No answer. Which I am not surprised as this is many years old.
I know it is a long shot but does anyone have this pattern and if so would you be willing to lend or sell it to me?
Thanks for any leads you may be able to give me.
This simply looks like a 5" center square framed with 2.5" strips and then a 2.5" sashing.
ReplyDeletelooks like a simple courthouse square with sashing
ReplyDeleteI love the looks of that quilt too. I know you could figure this out without a pattern. I agree with Vrooman's Quilts.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't find the pattern, I have one that is very similar. Just let me know:) V
ReplyDeletePattern?! Do what Ms. Vrooman says!! This is easy-peasy level!! And SO cute!! I want to do it too!! See ya later!!
ReplyDeleteI disagree with the center. I would imagine it is 4 1/2 that would make everything finish at 2 inches. (The center square fininishing at 4 inches) But I agree with 2 1/2 inch strips! You can do this without a pattern!
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone else, make it your own! Pick a size that works with your scraps.
ReplyDeleteI'm encouraging you to create this with all the other commenters suggestions. You can do this with squares that suit you! Go on, you know you can!
ReplyDeleteI bet you can create it in EQ, let me know if you need help.
ReplyDeleteI was planning to suggest you could do this without a pattern but it seems the others have beaten me too it!
ReplyDeleteI pinned it, too. I have seen it in several styles but I like this modern version best. I had thought to make it with 2.5" strips and a 4.5" center. For a King size, I would have to rethink that. I think 8" blocks on a King can make a quilt look a little spotty if it has that much light lattice between blocks. But in a deeper, blendier tone, it might be great. DESIGN WALL!
ReplyDeleteI have that pattern. Got it from allpeoplequilt.com and the project name is Splashes of Color. Hope you can find it there. Barb
ReplyDeleteI was going to say the same thing as Vrooman's but if it is in all people, better yet. It is pretty.
