A Date With Rosie

I hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend.
I can say that here in Illinois,
Spring has Sprong!
This was the kind of weekend where you just wanted to be outside.

My Easter Grand-Bunnies!

So, It was time to bring out Rosie!

Ahh, the girl (bike) is still in shape after a long winter of just sitting in the garage.  As for me, nope, it is going to take a while to get back on the horse so too speak!
But when I ride my bike I feel like a child again.  So happy, and carefree.
I love my bike!

And now to switch gears. I would like to tempt you with some new fabrics I have in my stores.
I still have a large selection of Flower Sugar.
This is just a few!

New are some beautiful pastels from Michael Miller

Salmon

Aqua

Lime

and a  hounstooth to match.

From In The Beginning Fabrics
a bright fun line that features an ACC & 123 Panel.

also prints to coordinate.

Notice the words on this one!

From Michael Miller a bundle that just screams Summer!
I am going to have to save a half yard bundle for myself!

Also fabric from Jane Dixon.  Jane is a surface designer; besides designing fabric for Andover she also has some darling plates and glasses at Crate and Barrel.  Jane lives less that 3 minutes from my house so of course I just had to carry her fabric.
This is her new line Jazz Jam.  I have fat quarter bundles but if you need yardage of any of the prints just let me know.

Hexies, back in stock.

Aqua and Red Bundles also back in stock.

All can be seen here at

Happy Sewing!

  3. Janie, your Grand Bunnies are super adorable! Oh, you just HAD to go and post of pic of your bicycle! I miss mine so very much! I ride it all over town. I used to ride it to and from work. The youngens used to laugh at me until they decided they wanted a bike to ride to work too! I can't wait to get back to it! Ooooo, I love that fabric collection from the 3-minutes-away lady!

  4. The girls look so sweet in their Easter dresses. I need to get my bike out too, but with the baby here all day, hard to ride with him. Need to see if a friend might have their old bike carriage.
