I just wanted to see if I could do it! You know, make something with hexies. I kept making them but had no idea what to do with them. Of course a beautiful flower garden quilt would be lovely. That however would take me ages.
So, I pulled out some of my Flower Sugar Scraps and made about 30 hexies. I then used Presencia Thread and attached them to a backing with large stitch quilting.
Then.....
I stared at it for several months!
I still had no idea what to do them!
Until I found this great you tube video
I could do that, I was sure I could! and you know what?
I did!!
Here is my little 10 inch pillow.

It now belongs to Little Miss.
She had her whole section set up....
and then enjoyed it!

ReplyDeleteCute little pillow - that's about as far as I would take hexies, too. Gosh, that reminds me of my daughter - she had all the Care Bears,too, and would line them all up (with lots of other bears) and squeeze herself inbetween them.

Love it! It turned out really cute and Little Miss is adorable! I remember days of playing with all my little dolls & my brother's matchbox cars on my own blanket on the floor. Great memories you've made for Little Miss.
