Bee Blocks

First I would like to thank everyone that gave me ideas and sent links to find knitted animal hats for the grandbabies. So many to choose from! Very exciting, thank you again!
Now on to some bee blocks I finished this week.  I am once again in the

This is a fun Bee. You pick one block and make it several times in colors your hive members picked.
I choose Red/White/Blue  Surprised?!
When I receive my blocks I will post them for all to see.

Here are the blocks I made for my group.

I love how different each block looks with just a change of color.

What is next?
Yes, the Wizard of Oz Quilt
~~add borders
~~make a backing
~~layer and pin

Goal by Sunday Night.  I think doable!

  1. Jane, I love your star. Is the pattern available on the internet, or did you draft it? I'd love to make one (or more).

  2. Your blocks are adorable...each one spectacular! The pattern looks so very intricate and is perfectly pieced! You have a lot going on...will look forward to seeing more goodies!

  3. A favorite block of mine is King's Crown because it changes "looks" with the use of different fabrics. Your block is a another great one - what is it called? - I would love to try it in different colorways also. Very good pick for your fellow bee members. Judy C

  4. Love the blocks you made. Isn't it amazing what a change of color does for a block...each one becomes unique. You better get busy girl! That's a lot of hops to prepare for!!

  5. How did i miss all these,,,,,quite cool i may have had quite a day lol

  6. It is interesting how different the same block can look just by changing fabrics. Your stars are gorgeous, Jane :)

I always love to hear your thoughts!
