I am so excited my Quilter's Palette Quilt is
Marked
Pinned
and ready
to hand quilt!
This was such a fun top to make. I loved looking at all my fabrics and getting to use my favorites, some old, some new, but all favorites.
You will not see my baby for a few months as I have quite a few hand projects going on at this time.
But oh the fun!!
Loving all the colours!! The close up of the prints gives a sneak peek to the fabrics they once were =D
ReplyDeleteJust love how this came out. Enjoy your handquilting.
ReplyDeleteLove all the colours..turned out really beautiful Jane. Enjoy the hand-quilting.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt Jane. I don't seem to be getting much sewing done lately ...just getting over a nasty cold ...and my sisters and niece will be arriving tomorrow and visiting till Friday....so I have to collect some dust bunnies tomorrow and get some groceries, my cupboard is pretty bare...luv your quilt, can't wait to see it quilted...have a happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeletePrepping a quilt for quilting is a lot of work! Your lines are very even - did you use a regular pencil or a special one? Hope it all goes well for you...

ReplyDeleteIt is so beautiful! I really love it....
ReplyDeleteOh Jane, it is gorgeous! I love how the white makes the colours pop. Having all that handwork to do will help make the nezt three months fly by. ( it would take me that long to get all those pins in!)
ReplyDeleteGoodness, missed the little (big guy now) guy's birthday. is it that long ago that you were jumping for joy? Very cute grandkids my dear!
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt...never ever thought of doing what you did and I have scraps too. Fabulous idea as usual.
I love it already! I just need some scraps! LOL and pretty ones at that!
ReplyDeleteI would love to make one of these quilts one day. I don't like the prepping process especially the backing. I'm never completely happy with Getting all 3 layers even and basted. Somehow I come out uneven after I've quilted and then trying to square it back up is a bear.
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Gmama Jane
It is great, really great. You are incredible to hand quilt this. My hat is off to you.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love it!
