How many of you….

Have a friend who will do this for you?
We both bought the same pattern.

She knows my cutting skills are lacking.

SO…

She cut all my pieces for me!
Made me a color chart and even labeled the pieces!!!!

Now all I have to do is put it together!!

Thank you so much Elaine!!! You are the best!

Also...
A new addition to my sewing room!!

  2. So my friend bought this pattern a few years ago and wanted me to do the same, so I also purchased it because we are going to do it together. We have yet to do it, but I think you have inspired me! Love the spot for Little T!

  7. You are very lucky to have such a friend! I am fortunate to have my mom - also an avid quilter. She once got me a complete log cabin quilt kit that was featured on the cover of a quilting magazine from a shop in Madison, Wis. near where we're from... and I had it for a couple years. Didn't know where to start cutting... so intimidating. So, she offered to cut it for me... and did just that, organizing everything and labeling each type of piece into bags... I'm embarrassed to say it's still in those bags. I need to finish it because I finally have the perfect place to hang it on the wall when it's done!

Friends like that (and moms) are priceless!

  13. I have a friend just like yours. We often work on the same project.... start all the free BOM offered by the many fabulous bloggers. When I fall behind she cuts...even sews the blocks to get me caught up. Thank you Mama Spark.....you are the best!! She has trouble with pain when she hand stitches so I help her out by doing all her bindings..that is what friends do for friends.
