Bowls With Borders
What an amazing hop and Carol did a fantastic job.
BUT WAIT, we still have today and I have a story to share.
I think by this time you know that Madame Samm and I are friends. We talk to each other a lot, yes, a lot!
Well one day I saw some cute bowls on her blog. I commented on how just darling they were and how I loved the fabrics and colors she had chosen.
This went on for several days as the stack of bowls grew taller and taller.
We talked about borders. We talked about binding.
NEVER, I mean NEVER did it cross my mind that they were for me for my up-coming birthday!
I believe she called me a "ding, dong" for not knowing they were for me!
So, now proudly displayed in my kitchen is this wonderful wall-hanging from a dear friend.

hand quilted in variegated pink thread.
AND
stitched with my name ( I know I love to see my name, very vain of me)
the year
and look a little pink bowl with a reminder of the
Red White and Blue Blog Hop.
This is so special and I love it!
