Now for some techniques I have always wanted to try! (note try)
I have always wanted to try my hand at Hexagons.
I made this block using

They come in 11 different sizes and can be found HERE and at many local quilt shops and on-line stores.
I WILL be using these again!

I love all your blocks. T me, the pool is the et place to be in the summer.
Well since it's winter in Australia, I just want it to be summer so I can go outside without freezing!
Super showcase of lovely blocks! And those are poppies? To keep cool - a tall frosted glass filled with a rootbeer float and two straws. And it has to be Hires RootBeer!
Wow, I love that paper pieced block - Chief Seattle! So fun, I can imagine a whole RW&B quilt out of just that pattern. Thanks for hosting the hop, I'm having a great time seeing all of the blocks so far. For summer, my favorite activity is having an ice cream sandwich - the cheap kinds with the cookies that get stuck to your fingers. (Although any kind of ice cream would also be fantastic!)
I love to eat sugar-free popsicles, drink iced tea, and sew in my air-conditioned home here in HOT Arizona! I used to love to go to the pool, until I got the body of a 62-year-old! :D
Happy July 4th to those of us in the USA!
Jane, Dear, I love each and every one of your blocks!! I wish you the happiest of days with your family, food and lots of fun!! Thank you so much for all of your hard work on this hope and Yay You!
Great blocks! I like the Thangles block and the Scrapbuster block best. On a sunny summer day I like going out in the boat and reading while DH fishes.
Oh your blocks are so beautiful and look so fresh and bold in those colors. Lovely. On a hot summerday I love to sit ander a tree and read a book!
Love ALL your blocks!! You're really on your way to having a quilt top! NOW can we go out for breakfast?!
Beautiful blocks Jane! Having fun on the blog. I love to spend the summer evenings sitting outside with my DH. It's the best part of the day.....Judith, Texas
Hot summer day??? Stay in my cool basement sewing room of course!
Swimming is the best on a hot summer day!

You done good! And your photography is fantastic...love the settings for your blocks! Enjoy the day...on any holiday, it is all about family...and a little bit of sewing! I loved all of your blocks , great display of RWB .My favorite place in summer is visiting my grandchildren. Thanks again for hosting this event.
I love all your blocks!! They will make a wonderful patriotic quilt!! Thanks for sharing them with us and thanks for the giveaway!!! My favorite thing to do on a summer day is lounge by the lakeside and listen to the waves.
I like to sit inside in the AC and quilt. I used to go to the pool, but not anymore.

Jane what a wonderful job on all your blocks....TY for all your work in putting this together...I also love thangles. My favorite passtime for summer is just to enjoy the long days and the numerous occasions to enjoy friends and family......
I am an Aussie but just made my first RW&B project for a secret swap - and loved it. You can pop over to cop a look if you want at http://findingfifth.blogspot.com.au/2012/07/stars-on-4th.html

Thanks for sharing these great blocks. On a hot day, I love to go to my sewing room, which is in the basement. It is always cool in there.
All your blocks are wonderful, great inspiration :) I love to go to the lake with my family on hot summer days and we've had quite a few of those lately!
I love them all! Summer to me means sitting on the porch eating cold watermelon.
Fantastic blocks and so perfect for today! I hope your having a BLAST! I love just relaxing with cold drink pool side. Wish we had a pool! Lol
Wow, all your blocks are awesome...on a HOT summer day, here in Florida, I LOVE to relax on a float in the pool with a good book...can't beat it!
Love your blocks. On a hot summer day I like to be at the beach cooling off
Great line up of blocks!
I like to drink iced coffee, which I am doing right now while I browse today's links. Thanks so much!
Hi Jane, you have been busy with your blocks and they all look great. I am definitely going to try a few. Love the new fabric and would love to win. Thanks for sharing. Susie x
I love your blocks and the fabric line you used for them. My favorite activity for the 4th is a family picnic, which we won't be doing due to the heat and most of the family being in other places. Happy 4th!
What inspirational blocks. Thank you for sharing.
Love your blocks, all of them. I also love Thangles. I'm so surprised we don't hear more talk of them - they are fantastic! Even though I know how to make HSTs without them, it's nice to know they have the teeny, tiny ones if you wish to do those very small HSTs.
On a hot summer day I like to stay in my cool sewing room and quilt.
I love your blocks. We like to sit by the pool and then after supper drive into town for an ice cream.
happy 4th to you and yours too. And I echo your thanks to our servicemen and their families.
A hot day finds me inside sewing, reading or naping.
jleibfried@aol.com
Jane - you have made such a lovely assortment of blocks with your use of checks, stripes and prints and I love each and every one - thank you for referencing where to get the patterns - favorite thing to do in the summer is to have a spontaneous picnic with my DWH under a shady tree somewhere along an adventure ride. Judy C n NC
I just love your very patriotic blocks!!!!! Thank you for sharing them today.
Thank you and Happy 4th!
Today on this Hot Day I am having my Dad over for a little picnic and making tomato pie and special burgers but in between I am painting stripes on NY Yankee chainsaw carved baseball bears - no sewing for me today.

Your blocks are wonderful. My favorite thing about summer is ice cream!
Love all your blocks. Woke up to 80 degrees and so humid that the windows are dripping on the outside. Might be a pool day. Otherwise, my sewing room is in the basment. Hmmm --- decisions.
Love all your blocks. Woke up to 80 degrees and so humid that the windows are dripping on the outside. Might be a pool day. Otherwise, my sewing room is in the basment. Hmmm --- decisions.
Love your blocks. Thanks for hosting this great event. In the heat of summer like riding my bike along a forested lane.
Cool shade by the river with a good book.
A swim is always nice on any kind of day, we aren't having many hot ones here in England yet this summer!
Great blocks Jane - you do such beautiful work always! I think my favorite might be that scrapbusters block...great idea. I've used Thangles for several years and love them. I never mess up points when I use Thangles. :) On a hot summer day I prefer to stay inside with my embroidery and an old movie. :) blessings, marlene
Thanks for the great ideas! In the pool is the best place to be!
Awesome lineup, Jane! I'm thoroughly intrigued by the fist block--I may have to play with that one...
Ah, and on a hot day I hit the pool with a good book. ♥
Great blocks! I love nothing more than eating ice cold sweet watermelon on a hot summer day!
Jane I so love all your blocks and I'm really loving this hop. I am blown away so far by all the wonders I am seeing. Thank you so much.
On a hot summer day, I love to sit and watch my kiddos splash in their pool (nothing beats seeing kids laugh and play) and then go get an ice cream cone at my favorite stand. The feature flavor of this week is Black Raspberry, swirled with Vanilla is super yummy!
Have a terrific 4th!
On a hot summer day, I will be inside mostly, either playing games on the computer or crocheting or sewing. Thanks for the giveaway! I am liking your blocks, even the one you weren't happy to show. I can't tell the difference....
On a hot day I like to go jump in a lake = Lake Erie, that is!! Happy 4th to you, I love it too.
Great blocks! I like to sit in my rocker under an umbrella on the deck reading.
Jane, my friend, you outdid yourself this time around!! You have been one busy bee...a little pun there! I have a favorite... the strip block from Chief Seattle with the new fabric, summersville. I have NOT seen that fabric but will need to get some! On a hot summer day, if I'm not in the pool, I'm inside with the AC and sewing. I do NOT do Heat!! It is so oppressive here in the Deep South and not very conducive to family fun. Fall and spring are when we get outside.
Happy 4th
Gmama Jane
Love all your blocks and your little dolls are sooo cute!!!! Swimming is great on the fourth to me!!!
Picnics and cold, cold watermelon are my favorites plus watching the great fireworks.
This blog hop is really fun. I love seeing all the different blocks. thanks for organizing.
Great blocks! Thank you for sharing your talent. I would like to work on my flower beds more but it is wayyyyyy too hot!
From a Canadian I wish you a great July 4th. Loved your blocks.
Hot summer days are really hot here in North Carolina - so I like to get a tall glass of sweet tea & relax with a good book or spend some quality time with my sewing machine. Love your quilt blocks. Thanks for the giveaway.
I love the Hexie block!! Definitely going to be checking into that one!! :-) On a hot Summer day, I prefer to stay inside sewing, watching a movie, playing games, etc... then later in the afternoon, head to the water! (pool, lake, gulf--- any will do!) Thank you for the chance to win!
Oooh, Jane! I can see why this is your favorite holiday! Love your Florida Star, and what a great little parade of blocks - looks like you had so much fun. My idea of a fun summer day? Hanging out with my family. Thanks for hosting this hop!
You have been one busy bee, putting together all these blocks - they're great! I must say, I got completely sidetracked with the soundtrack of "I'm Proud To Be An American" so I went to You Tube and downloaded a version to my FB - thank! My favorite summer activity is sitting in my mountains with friends, either gazing at the Sawtooths or sharing stories around the campfire. Yep, that's the ticket!
I love all your blocks. My fave place to be would have to be at the beach with my friends and grandsons, and a great picnic lunch.
Thanks so much for hosting this blog hop, I am new at this art, so this is like Christmas every day for me!!
Those are beautiful and amazing blocks! I love how you photographed them, too, and told us where to find the ingredients to make them. I just threw my runner on red dirt and rocks--we don't have nice greenery like you do. :O) This has been so fun--I've been in such awe of all the creativity out there.
Your blocks are fabulous! I do not think I can pick a favorite. On a hot summer day I like to go to the pool and watch my little girls play. Happy 4th!
My goodness those blocks are fabulous. That Florida star is just stunning. Oh a hot day I like to lounge in the pool with a nice glass of ice tea!
Those blocks are wonderful! I love all of the RW&B in the hop.
I think sewing in an air conditioned room sounds good for a hot summer day. We are still waiting for summer to arrive here.
What a parade of blocks! thanks! I love sitting in the shade w/ a rootbeer float on a hot day!
Nice line up of different blocks. I like to stay indoors and sew on these 100 plus days.
On a hot summer day, I enjoy sitting in my air conditioned camper working on hand work. We don't have air in the house but the camper is parked in the drive getting ready for the next trip. It is much cleaner than my house right now too so that is an extra bonus because I am not sitting here sweating and thinking I should be dusting or something but it is toooooooo hot!
Great job on all of your blocks! I especially like the Florida Star and the Scapbuster! Cute cute!
Wow, I love your Table Runner and Paper pieced Patriot Blocks! I love to go Biking along the river where it is shaded. When it is hot just the wind the bike creates gives a little breeze.........
I love that modified Florida Star block! I live on the coast so on those nice summer afternoons I go for a walk and a wade on the beach. Thank you for a lovely giveaway.
Happy July 4th to you too! My favorite thing to do on a hot summer day is to drink lots of ice water and make a little progress on some of my quilt blocks. It's going to be hot here in Boston, MA, today, so I've got a bit of housework to do, then I'm going to enjoy a few hours of sewing.
I like your Chief Seattle block. On hot summer days I like to sit back in my chair and hang out while the kids run around.
I am really enjoying the red, white and blue blog hop. It is supposed to hit 100 degrees in my part of Wisconsin today. I am thinking that the hammock in a shady spot will be just right.
Beautiful blocks Jane, and what a great job of managing this blog hop! You go girl! I love your little hexies, and notice the patriotic lamp they are in front of. Great photos. Happy 4th of July.
Quilt! That is what I like to do when it is so hot. But then again I love to quilt when it is raining, snowing and windy. Hmmmm.....I guess I like to quilt all of the time. Thanks for the great giveaway and for sharing all your cute blocks.
I'm already a faithful follower! On a warm summer day, I like to eat tomato sandwiches and drink sweet tea!
On a hot summer day, I like to pour a glass of iced tea and read a quilting magazine!
Beautiful blocks Jane! Thanks for a fun blog hop and on a hot day.....I enjoy staying in the house and quilting!
Lots of sweet tea with lemon.
What a nice post. I love all your blocks. Thanks for sharing.
Love your blocks! Thanks so much for organizing this hop. I love to curl up in a cool corner of my yard with a cool drink and a good book when things get nice & hot ... has yet to happen here, though :)
Lovely pieces you shared with us...thank you. On a hot summer day; I like to jump in the Solstice ...top down and just go for a wonderful breezie drive....about to do just that...thanks for this chance.
Love the red, white and blue blocks! I love to eat watermelon on a hot summery day!
Linda
Your blocks are fabulous and what a great start on a red, white and blue quilt. In the summer I love to watch our grandchildren play in my little pool in our back yard. Still waiting for warm days so that they can do this.
I love to swim in a pool on a hot summer day, and have some delicious watermelon to follow!
Norma in BR
N.bourgeois@cox.net
I love your blocks (and choice of song). You should be proud of your hexagon. It might not be the same as the original, but I like yurs better. It seems more symmetrical, and I like how it fits in the block.
Thanks for the inspiration and the opportunity to win!
Hot summer days like we have in Texas are always more enjoyable with a wine icy (like a fruity frozen margharita, but made with wine) while floating in the pool, as the smoker cooks something fabulous for dinner.
For the best place is in a rocking chair on my back porch with a big glass of sweet tea.
So fun to see all of the blocks. Red White and Blue is such a great combo. Would love to win those charm packs!
Love the song! Makes me so proud and humble. And your blocks are great. On a summer day it depends on what all is going on. Love to read laying out in the sun on a beautiful day. Or spend time curled up inside stitching or sewing (too many things I like to do). Thanks for this hop and your giveaway.
I love all your blocks. Summer can be cold in my neck of the woods so I love to spend time with my grand kids and quilt.
Wow you were busy and they are all fabulous - the quilt will look wonderful when done.
Thanks for putting this all together. Summer means reading and relaxing. I am a teacher and enjoy every day of my vacation. Great giveaway!
Deborah
Love all your blocks, one of the things I like to do on a hot day is eat water melon! lol.
I like to go out and get ice cream with my friends.
Great blocks!!!
I love to go swimming on a hot summer day! Thanks for the sweet giveaway!
What a wonderful time you've had with your red white and blue blocks! My fave is your scrap buster block. I must remember that one! I suppose you've probably shown that quilt that's hanging under that shelf, but I sure would like to see the whole quilt. It looks pretty fabulous too! (I know I could search your whole blog, but with my slow internet, it would take me forever.)
I love to sit in the shade and read a good book on a hot summer day.
I love all your blocks. I think just about every block looks great in red, white and blue.
Love your blocks especially the hex's. Today we are going camping and to a concert. We do the concert and fireworks with our kids and grands each year.
On the really hot days I stay inside under the ceiling fan. Love your red, white and blue squares. You are so creative!
Oh my those blocks are absolutely wonderful!!! I can't choose a favorite, but my top votes go to The Hexing Along Block, Scrapbuster Block, and the 3x6 Bee! Thanks for sharing them!!!
Favorite thing in the summer beyond question is sink my toes in the sand and listen to the sound of the ocean all around me! It's been too long since I've been to the sea, and I hear the siren calling my name :*)
Have a happy 4th. I enjoyed your parade of RWB blocks.
I like hiding in my sewing room on hot days.
Love all of your pieces, fun for americana and the summer. I like to kayak and swim, love being on the bay when it is hot, nice and cool and the waves splash on my boat and keep me cool.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful day today.
Debbie
I like to go get a snowcone on a hot summer day! Thanks for the giveaway! Hooray for the Red, White and Blue!
I love your blocks! This blog hop is so much fun.....lots of inspiration. I love to swim on a hot summer day. Afterwards I love to sit & read a good book with a nice cold beverage close at hand.....otherwise I would be inside sewing.
Love all your blocks!! You have sure been busy! Thanks for sharing them all with us! What's my favorite thing to do on a hot summer day? Probably same thing as on a cold winter day, of course - sewing! Then there's geocaching, or giving the puppy a bath or going to the beach, or spending time with friends, or birdwatching, or soooo many other wonderful things we get to do because we live in such a wonderful country!
I love to sit by the pool and read a good book, in the shade of corse :)
I drink lots and lots of COLD drinks and too much ice cream! Thanks for the chance!
I love to walk! But not today...100 degrees with 112 heat index! Nice giveaway!
Thanks for sharing your blocks. I'm not a fan of the hot weather. I stay indoors or if I can, I go to the coast where it's cooler.
Debbie - Traveling Quilter
On hot summer days like today I like to blog hop gather ideas and go to my air conditioned sewing room and create.
Your blocks are terrific and I love your 60 degree block, it has personality.
Love your blocks. On hot Summer days, I love to go in my sewing room and create something beautiful. Thanks for the giveaway.
What a wonderful sampler of blocks! I've been out of town since the beginning, so have a lot of catching up to do. And on a hot summer day? Water my garden early, make some iced tea, and go blog hopping!
wow your blocks are great!!! Thank you for putting on this hop 4 days in and its been soooooo much fun! On a hot summer day I like to hide from the heat....LOL
Wow! Jane, you have been busy making some really great blocks. funny! I just did a post on Thangles yesterday.
I am a follower. thanks for a chance to win some fun fabric.
Happy 4th to you and yours.
I like to stay in the air conditioning during hot weather. That is why we moved from Florida.
Your blocks are all so beautiful and patriotic! My favorite thing to do on a summer day is bbq and swim in the cool water!
heygiz00@gmail.com
All of your blocks look great - we apparently have similar tastes in blocks, because I'd make any one of them :-)
Hot summer day. Well, I live in the pacific northwest where today, the 4th of July, we're expecting a high temp of 73F. I don't get a lot of opportunity to figure out what to do with a HOT summer day!
But in my imagination, I'd sit under a shade umbrella with a tall glass of fruity iced tea on the table, an audio book in my ears and a small embroidery project in my hands. With gentle breezes blowing. And Mr. TallDarkAndHandsome who gently strokes my shoulder as he passes by. On his way to refill my glass of tea. And bring me a brownie.
Hot summer days are perfect for catching up on your favorite blogs
Hand work: bindings, redwork, or just browsing an armload of my quilt magazines with a coooold lemonade at my side. If I only had a porce, these hot days would be ideal.
A P-O-R-C-H is what would make a hot day ideal. lol
I like to spend a hot day in air conditioning and maybe with a bowl of ice cream covered in extras. Thanks for the chance in a giveaway. Your blocks are really pretty.
mtower@bellsouth.net
Loved all your super fun blocks!!! Can't wait to see them all put together!! The best thing to do on a hot day is eat delicious ice cream!!
I like to get up early and go for a ride on my horse before it gets too warm, then head up to my quilting loft to quilt the day away. Or I'm up for a kayak trip too!!
Your parade of blocks are amazing! You have been busy. hehe. Something about red, white and blue always make me feel happy, safe and proud! Thank you for mentioning our military and their families. My son is deployed in Afghanistan and he has a wife and a 20 month old son (and a mom) who are missing him tons.
Thank you for a super giveaway and a chance to win some awesome fabric. Of course I'm already a follower.
usairdoll(at)gmail(dot)com

steeledome at gmail
you did a great job on your parade of blocks. Nice display. I mostly like to me where ever there is A/C running. LOL
love your blocks
Wonderful blocks and use of RW&B fabrics! Hot summer days mean quilting or trying a new to me technic. Windows open so I can listen to the fountain on the deck and the birds taking baths. Thank you for having a give away
Your books look awesome. Thanks for all the ideas.
On a hot summer day ,I like a freshly bear with tortilla patata(Spanish potato omelette).
Thanks to the blog hop I just found your blog - LOVE IT - am now a follower. Thanks for the Thangles advice, unfortunately a local shop is going out of business but she has them at 60% off so tomorrow I will be buying some in every size.

Hi, Jane. Happy 4th!! I wrote a comment earlier today but when I clicked on "publish" something weird happened and I wondered if my comment 'took'. I don't see it so I'm going to assume something weird happened. :)
Love all your blocks but I'm a sucker for stripes and stars so the last one is my favorite.
Summersville has been my favorite collection ever since I first laid eyes on it - I'd love to have pieces of each fabric in the line.
I just spent a favorite way to enjoy a hot summer day - we were out on the water, soaking up the sun, seeing the grands having a grand time tubing, and enjoying a cold drink and good conversation.
Your blocks are all wonderful. What are you making with all of them...did I miss that?
I love to have a tall glass of homemade lemonade under the AC in the summer.
Outside during early mornings and evenings, inside quilting and sewing during the heat of the day.... and eating some watermelon in the afternoon too. Happy Fourth of July! Your blocks are gorgeous, and appreciate how you gave credit to the orginator of the pattern. p.s. Thanks for the Florida Star link -- MarciaFlorida
Um, this is going to sound really weird, but I like to be in my gardens on hot summer days. Here in the Pacific NW, a hot summer day usually means a temperature of about 80 degrees...
...we are still waiting for hot summer days out here.
On a hot day, I love to sit on our screened-in porch with a tall glass of ice-cold lemonade!! Thanks for the chance to win and the wonderful RW&B inspiration! Hope you enjoyed the Fourth!
it's been hot here and the best way to cope is to hit the beach. One of my favorite places to go. :)
Sipping a tall glass of lemonade while sitting under an umbrella!
I would LOVE to say I like a good dip in my pool, but since it is not yet up this yeaer... I have to put up with the sprinkle! giggle!! LOVE the blocks!! :)
Busy girl! So many wonderful blocks, I can't pick a fav! :)
Had to hang around long enough to hear all of God Bless the USA. Love the cymbal part.
On a hot summer day, I sit out in the sun early, then sew all afternoon.
Loved the blocks you shared. On I hot summer day, you'll find me inside enjoying my A/C
The blocks are terrific...I also love the music!
Today was a perfect day-even though it is 97 deg. We had a picnic with friends, walked across the road to the private beach and watched the grandkids play. Then we climbed into the boat and went for a ride...great way to spend the 4th.
What a wonderful parade of blocks, Jane! Super!
I like to go to the lake and swim on a hot summer day!
I'm sorry but I had to delete my first comment because I wasn't finished. oops.
I love your blocks. They are awesome. Beautiful job. I'll take your hint about the 60 degree angle. lol
Let's see what do we do with the heat like it's been? Well of course, light meals, iced tea and staying inside where the central a/c is SO nice
Jane thanks for organizing the blog hop. I loved seeing all of your blocks. It's a great variety.
My favorite thing to do on a hot summer day is to sit on the swing in my back yard with a cool drink and some hand applique or to head to the beach with a book and a cool drink.
Your blocks are fabulous! I really like to go to the big lake (Lake Michigan) and spend the day at the beach with a good book on really hot days. Do not do that often enough now that my daughters are all grown and have families of their own.
Love all your great blocks! I drink lots of crystal light with ice, iced tea if possible :)
On a hot summer day, I stay inside under the air conditioner and eat ice cream, and check out quilters blogs.
I love your rwb blocks. You're being very adventurous. I like that. I'm a follower. My favorite thing on a hot summer's day is swimming.....and sunning.....and swimming. I love to swim. Yes! Thanks for letting us stop by.

I really like your quilt blocks especially your Betsy Ross one. On a hot summer day I like to relax with something cold to drink and read a good book.
Wow! U did an amazing job! I'm kind of embarrassed about the blocks I did now! I love to be inside seeing on a hot day! Or swimming! Thanks for the chance to win!!!!!
On a hot summer day I like to stay cool! I don't handle the heat well at all. So I've been inside with the A/C, staying well hydrated! :)
All your blocks look great! I'm going to give the hexie one a try. My favourite thing to do on a hot summer day is to swim in the ocean, or a lake would do in a pinch. Thanks for the giveaway.
Great blocks!!! And thanks for the chance at the giveaway! My favorite thing to do on a hot summer day is take a ride on my motorcycle up through the Adirondacks.

I love all your blocks :)
I love to eat cold ice cream.
Love your blocks - especially the one paying homage to Betsy Ross. On really hot muggy summer days, I just want to be in the AC
On a hot summer day like today, I like to go blog hopping and get lots of inspiration. All of your blocks are fantastic!
It's a toss up between quilting and the beach! Loved your blocks especailly the big hexie. Way cool.
You really have some of the funnest blocks up! The paper piecing one was exquisite!! I also loved your Thangles pieced block ... but I think it was definitely the fabrics that made it! Okay ... Summer time? I love a heavily wooded area that clears into a spring-fed stream. To sit under a tree, dangling my toes in the cold water ... maybe daydreaming, maybe reading, listening to the chirping of crickets and cicadas and birds. :)
Hot day, cold day, summer, winter...sitting in the sand at the beach! Hmmm. A solar power sewing machine might even make it better....
It's hot all the time here in Louisiana so I love to quilt on a hot summer day. Your blocks are wonderful, thanks for sharing and for being so generous.
Your blocks are all so pretty!
I 'd be in my sister's pool, with mint iced tea to sip on!

Hot summer days have me craving orange popsicles, or Creamsicles...so off to the grocery store I go to grab some! :) Thanks for the chance to win - hope you had a lovely fourth!
On a hot summer day, I'd love to lounge in my parents pool and sip a margarita (margarita missing if baby is in pool with me though).
I like to turn on the aircon and watch tv haha

A hexagon rwb-block, why didn't I think of that? Great. I love to sew hexagons on a warm summer day out in the garden.
They are all sooooooo gorgeous Jane! Oh my gosh!
I'm just now catching up with everyone. Always running around like a darn crazy bunny!
Hmm...what to do on a warm summer day....nap in the shade of the porch. Now if only I had time to do that. hee, hee, hee.

I love to keep as cool as possible and then head to the beach as the evening breezes cool the air and walk along the damp sand as the waves lap my ankles and then head up the beach to the fish and chip shop for hot chips to eat on the sand with my family.
just catching up on the blog hop - very sad that I missed a chance to win those cute little summersville packs - gorgeous blocks jane - really love your hexy block :)
A hot day in THIS house means sitting in front of the window AC unit pretending it's cooling us off!
